now remove neg batt cable for at least 15 minutes. then reconnect and drive for few minutes see what comes back. 12 and 55 dont worry about 54 is the one id watch for even though you said you replaced dist ,

I tried lol i couldnt move for more then a few feet , and yeah there is only that magnetic pickup "sensor" on the dist. Correct?

By the way i apperciate yalls help on this problem

Heres my thought process though:
Burn it and collect..... Lol jk I love alice (the xj)
Anywho im think that the distrubtor is a old code, bc if i was able to save it from dying with hitting the gas earlier today that seems like a fuel issue and it im getting what i can tell is good pressure at the line , offical test coming sunday night, then the only thig between the motor and fuel rail is the injectors which are from a 1990 ford bronco i have, so im thinkin since ita only doing while hot and the injectora are almost too hot to touch after it fails then its probaly vapor locking the 22year old injectors

Or is my thought process off?
