Default Jeep ZJ/XJ Power Window Motors

question, do the window motors from a 1994 ZJ fit the doors for my 1997 XJ?

Got a set of window motors from my bros old ZJ and wondering if it is possible to do.

16 year old thread, but I've got the same question. I've got access to a "parting out" ZJ and looking to grab whatever I can. window motors/regulators and switch panels would be great to have around as spare.
My xj is 2001 and the ZJ is 2008.

Rockauto.com is really helpful for stuff like this. If you click on the part number, a pop-up box will appear with all the other models the part is used on...

It's not showing any crossover between XJs and ZJs..

Haha, sorry...meant 1998.

Been buying on rockauto for years and did not know that about clicking the part number. Thanks!

I knew it wasn't an "official" swap, but I expected someone had done it and it was just a matter of drilling new mounting holes or such. Might grab them anyway and see if I can make it work if mine ever die.
