You can google them, but just changing that old 02 and checking it's wires seems more important.

is there a certain sealant used before installing the new sensor ?
after removing and reinstalling the old one for a closer look before i buy a new one. now i can hear a kind of ticking noise when accelerating (only noticeable on the driver side), ive read cracks in manifold can sound like a tick maybe cause i had removed the old sensor its not sealing tight anymore ?
well i have to get a new sensor but that wont happen today, i will do come back on the results after installing the new one.
i try to keep the chin up but hate it when trying to fix one thing and another pops up sigh

Don't use Bosch. Use NTK.

I probably put a little copper anti seize on mine before install, don't remember. I don't think it needs anything. A section of hose held to your ear might help you the source if the tick.
NTK # Is 23553, # same as in your link.

Ha! Alaska I just noticed. My Napa normally can get things overnight. It should run about fine with the one you have, unplugged. A bit rich, idle may fluctuate, other than on the highway the mileage will tank. You can wait. No idea how long mine was stone dead before I changed it.

the napa clerk told me this sensor has to come all the way from illiinois and being shipped up on my charge and it will get really pricy. that to me is a little silly they supply car parts thats what they do why would i have to pay for shipping my opinion, anyway were moving to anchorage half way september and ill be a little closer to other stores where they probably have it in stock.

I just went through this with my 89, even tore the harness apart (and fried a computer).
Yes, the engine does need to be running to have power at the oxygen sensor.
Should be able to find the NTK sensor on Amazon or Ebay for like 40 bucks, Dont know how much shipping would be though.

89laredo,
thanks for that confirmation, i did see they have them online and for a better price too.
DFlintstone,
we have a carquest here too i totally forgot about this store since most of the time i go there and end up empty handed leaving..
its like dflintstone said 'you can run it while having it unplugged' and didnt even know this sensor was dead long before. it sure isnt a component that will leave you stranded on the side of the road so thats a piece of mind. but i will replace it soon

Ha! You write like me, (And Yoda), "and end up empty handed leaving". ("leaving empty handed") is how "they" say it!
