Hi guys
I made myself a proud owner of a jeep a year ago and loved it, I broke my ecu unit so fitted another without coding it. Now my immobiliser has kicked in !!!!
If I was to buy a plug and play ecu from USA
A. Would it work on my uk jeep
B. Would it cancel out my immobiliser

Would I need to do anything else?
I am at the point of scraping it and I really don't wanto

Any input would be great thanks guys !!!!

 

Give us a bit more info. Year, engine etc.

 

It's a 1997 jeep Cherokee xj 4.0 straight 6 auto

 

so today I have had my ecu back from after swaping the program from origionel to a second plugged it in.
Security light is on the dash and it just will not turn over!!
I need help !
