Hey guys my 94 Cherokee won't start but it only won't start sometimes. It's done it about 3 times this past month. It'll start if I keep my foot on the gas but if I lie off it will die or stay at 400 idling really rough. After awhile its all good. I dunno what the deal is?

It sounds like it wants to fire but won't until I put my foot on the gas if that helps..

Throttle body is clean. Also new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, battery, alternator. And idk about the iac how would that prevent it starting

It's your IDLE air control . Notice it idles at 400 . Cleaning could help it idle in the proper 800 area .

I know what it is and mine idles all over the place. I just said that to give you an idea. It will NOT start unless I put my foot on the gas and keep on it. Or else it'll die or idle low and rough. Is that still the iac? I'm seriously not to worried about the idle but if it won't start then we got a bigger problem than an idle issue. I just heard its bad to step on the gas to start it, so I don't wanna do it much. But that's the only way it'll start sometimes, other times it'll start normal. This is rare but becoming more and more often.

Not sure what the picture is, im assuming its a picture of the iac I can't see it because the school filters have it blocked. Ya ill clean it and fix my idle problem, but that still leaves me stranded when it doesn't start?
