Ever since i got my 00 Cherokee limited back in 2011 it refuses to start up on first crank. Always the second attempt. It does start up right away when it is cold out. Not sure how that's relevant but idk.
Please help
thanks

Wow thats interesting, how did you determine it was the PCM?
But anyways, did you check out your Cam PS? Sometimes you need to adjust them as an OE timing chain will stretch and throw off your timing a little amount.
Otherwise if its temperature dependant,
I would suspect the IAT?

There is a check valve in (my), pump that can leak and cause a problem like yours. My pump will run just a couple secs when I turn to Ign, after a few times on, and off, the pressure should be up enough. Try the "poor man's prime!"

Yea,^, I forget the spec, 10 lbs in 20 mins? Ballpark anyway. I would guess if it's shot there is air in there and it takes it s bit to prime.

I'm assuming you mean the first time you turn the key, as opposed to the first crank of the engine. I'm not so hip on your new Jeep, but try this. Just turn the key on, then off two or three times, a few seconds apart, then try it.
