Default jeep running hot

Hey yall i have a 2001 jeep cherokee sport and iv noticed when its hot out my jeep runs over 210 is this normal iv changed the thermostat and the water pump but it still doing the same thing and iv also flushed out the radiator. Any advice would be helpful

What size engine? Also how much over 210? If it's only a couple of degs. It's probably nothing to worry about. My 98 normally stays at 210 except when the out side temp gets over 110 the it will run between 210 and 214deg.

If it gets close to, or in to, the red zone...then you have a problem.

Yes, red no good.
Hot while driving or idling/slow traffic?

As we go into spring here, I can't wait for the " no heat" threads from overseas to start recurring again...maybe I should bite the bullet and start doing a write-up on how to attack the " Jeep runs hot, HELP!" situation, or " No heat" issue. Or the " Jeep won't start, did a search"...or...naah, that would leave nothing to reply to.

When its driving it dont go past 210 but when i stop at a red light sometimes it jumps up to 220 and i cant run the a/c cuz then the temp skyrockets up to 240

And, is the electric fan kicking in with A/C on, or over 218* +/- ?

This is one sign that you fan clutch is getting weak and needs replacing. A simple and cheap fix if that is your only problem. When was the last time the cooling system was maintained?

Im not sure when it was cuz i just bought the jeep about 7-8 months ago but i have flushed out the system but there was a bunch of rust type looking stuff that can out
