I left the interior light on the other day and my battery died. i got it jumped twice and still wouldnt start, then it randomly started up a few hours later when i tried it. When it started, it fired up at 200 or so rpm then worked up to 1000. After it was started it idled fine, but then i drove it about 1/4 mile and as soon as i let go of the gas the thing flatlined and stalled out. It does that almost every time now...could it be my serpentine belt?

Start with what you know might have an issue the battery. You said you ran it dead. How old is this battery. It takes a long time to properly charge a battery, just using the alternator. Jeep 4.0 is a battery hog, it will KILL a weak battery. Get your battery checked.
Yes you could have a belt problem. Yes you could have a alternator problem, especialy now that you had a dead battery. Dead batteries are very hard on the rest of the charging system.

The battery is probably pretty old, I've had the jeep for 2 years and about 13000 miles with the battery it came with. It could be the battery...sometimes while driving at night ill see the lights dim for a split second (headlights and dash) then they go back to normal. The alternator is fine, while it was running i disconnected the battery and it still ran, but the belt is a little loose and squeaky as well as partially off track so it could be a mix of both. It turns over and starts perfectly fine most times, maybe turns over for a second.

Reset your ECU, the low voltage may of screwed with the memory tables.
I would also check your grounds and battery/cables.

Disconnect the POSITIVE battery Terminal and touch it to ground for 30 seconds. (This is to discharge the PCM capacitors, which maintain the Adaptive Memory.
Reconnect the Battery Cable
Turn Ignition Switch to the "on" position but DO NOT start the engine
Turn Headlight "On"
Turn Headlights "Off"
Turn Ignition Key "Off"
The PCM Adaptive memory has now been flashed, or erased from the PCM.
When you start the engine it will be running off a set of pre-programmed tables that come with the PCM from the factory.
When you get the engine up to operating temperature the PCM will start to collect data for the "Adaptive Memory"
The PCM will collect data for Adaptive Memory for the first 50 Warm-up Cycles.
Warm-up Cycle
A warm-up cycle happens when all of the following conditions exist.
Engine is running
A raise of 40F in engine temperature must occur ABOVE the engine temperature at start-up
Coolant Temp must reach at least 160 F.
Once your engine has gone through 50 warm-up cycles in at least a 500-mile distance the PCM adaptive memory is set. It WILL NOT Change unless you flash it out and start all over again.
