we would all love to buy the top of the line, but he said the best for the money....... What are you looking to get out of this lift? Is it for function or looks? Or maybe a combination of both? I would get the rocky road lift, for 180-190 bucks shipped, its not a bad deal at all. http://www.rocky-road.com/xjbudget.html

That's what i have and it works fine for me. i didnt even get new shocks and it still rides great

Going for the best for the money for a 3 inch lift I would buy OME medium duty leafs and OME 3 inch heavy duty coils. That is the best and it would be around 400 dollars! Then if he wanted to go to 4.5 or 5 inches later all he needs is to add a 1.5 or 2 inch coil spacer in the front and a 1.5 or 2 inch shackle in the rear. Plus the control arms, adjustable track bar, and the Slip yolk eliminator and rear drive shaft when he is ready or when he needs to after the increase in height.
