Yeah I doubt the AC does much for you with no doors.

I think I'm gunna get a bypass pulley. Monday I'll hopefully get a clear day to swap the pump.

I had a similar issue with a crazy noise...

1. old worn belt
2. getting tension on correct on new belt.
3. Electric cooling fan was shot...this would cause temp to rise if using AC.

Just some thoughts from what I went through, if you haven't checked these already.
