Hi... i have a 99 xj sport .. i had a problem whit my temps that was too high. wild i was riding on the high-way my temp gauge was siting a 100 that is suppose too be the normal temps but wend im riding at low speed like wend im going in the trail my temps goes al the way too 115 so i did a cooling flush and a cooling cleaning treatment and i replace the thermostat from a 195 too a 180 and a replace the cooling whit new fluid 50/50 peak antifreeze. Now on normal ride my temps gauge is siting at 90 but wend i go hunting and a go slow my temps climb all the way to 110 and my electric fan keep going on and off and that is turning me nut what could i do ????

Are you in Canada? Are those temps in Celsius?
Where on the guage is 110? In the middle? If so, that is right where it should be.
Your electric fan will come on at slow speed where there is not much vehicle movement to get air flow through the radiator.

My '88 runs around 90, when it hit's 100(centre of the guage) the t'stat must open as it drops back to 90.

I've never seen or heard my electric fan kick in but the viscous fan is, of course, always turning when the engine is running.

I'd say what you're seeing is perfectly normal.
