Jeep cuts out only when engine is cold
I have a 97 Jeep Cherokee 4.0
I had this issue awhile back and thought it had been fixed. Only when the engine is cold the jeep will cut out and jerk when driving it. It stopped before after I did a deep cleaning of the throttle body and IAC. Since buying the jeep in June i have replaced the following: plugs, wire and cap, TPS, CPS, MAP and 02 SENSOR. Could the cause of this issue be a bad IAC or something else? That is about the only sensor i haven't replaced but i have spent a lot of money fixing this since i bought it so don't want to buy something if that may not be the issue.
Any advice on what else could cause this?
Thanks

one of the new sensors could be bad, it's always good to replace a sensor individually. Also reset your computer everytime you replace any engine management component. Give it time to relearn and adjust as needed. Try your best to buy factory parts. I've been lucky with my 00 cherokee SE. I've got less the 100K on my truck so IM looking forward to problems in the future. I love working on my Jeep with my spare time and it's not my DD
I had done one at a time. Some of it was just preventative maintenance some was from issue it had. The codes have been checked before every sensor was replaced. It isn't showing any codes now but continues to cut out. All of the sensors weren't oem but they were the higher end from the part store.
The fuel filter gets over looked. Has that been changed out recently. New fuels that causes the filters to rust quickly. I've changed filters out and got great results. Try some octane booster or run high test like I do. High test last longer and burns cleaner. my 2000 runs good but there is a notable differences between regular and high test. Fuel filters are every 15K miles. 99 and up don't come factory with fuel filters. But my old 98 did, so your 97 should
