jeep cherokee running hot
i have a 1998 jeep cherokee classic. and for the most part it runs pretty good. one thing ive noticed is that it always is superhot when i turn it off. the temp gauge seems to work and it doesnt over heat. any suggestions on what could cause it to be running hot
Cast iron has a way of retaining heat for a while. I have electric fans that will run after the engine is shut down for 30 sec. and it will still warm up on its own (according to the gauge) during the summer. As long as when you're running it's normal I wouldn't worry about it.
