I have a loud noise coming from the rear of my jeep I'm not to sure what it is. When is changes gears it makes a noise and sometimes when you take your foot off the exselerater it makes the same noise. Sometimes when I apply the break it makes the same noise it's like a nock or bang noise and it only started doing it yesterday. I don't think it would be breaks ?

Since we've established that you have what we call a Jeep Liberty (KJ) in another thread I'll post up a couple links to Jeep Liberty forums where you can get more specific help.

That said, it could be a U joint (if the KJ's even have em) starting to let go.
