yeah, essentially, but the seals happen to be in different places.
i've heard of others doing it, they had to machine out the nylon bushing.
if not done correctly, it will leak.
i've heard of others just replacing the seals so the solid tj shafts will work.
part numbers for the seals are
Napa CN11771
Mazza's 40576S
National - 7757
use the tj shafts so you get the larger u-joints.
i had the chance to just swap in a non disco axle, but i wanted to keep the disco so i can use it together with a lock-rite, giving me a selectable locker.
