That is a crank position sensor for a 93-96 zj and 93-96 yj

If you go some where that sells standard motor product, part number is PC41

 

and MasterPro is #2-96140

Well got the new cps in today. Installed it and nothing!!! Wth! So like I should have done in the first place, I pulled the cap and this is what the rotor looked like and the inside of the cap!! Wow is all I could say, well after I kicked myself In the ***!! If you look closely you can see the contacts on the cap were wore down badly! What causes this?? I replaced both of these about a year and half ago!

 

Others will post but in case you are going to head out for parts, be sure and get a cap with brass contacts this time.

 

and don't buy the cheapest thing they sell.
