Default Issues with BWD Oil pressure sender?

Anybody else have any issues with BWD oil pressure senders?

I replaced my OEM sender about 2000 miles ago when I was getting random pinned oil pressure readings. Now, I find that every once in a while I will get a "0" pressure reading for literally seconds and the oil pressure will then return to normal operating pressure. No knocks, noises, or other suspicious gauge readings...

Time to take a trip to the dealer for a better quality sender?

If the gauge sweeps full scale, that indicates a short to ground. Gauge indicating 0 infinite resistance. Are you sure the wiring is OK?

Gauge doesn't seem to be sweeping "full scale". Drops from say 40 down to zero and bounces right back up.

But no, I'm not 100% certain that the wiring is ok. I guess that'll be the next thing to check.

Had this happen on my 99, replaced unit and had no issues since.

Just go to the dealer and get OEM a little bit more expensive but worth it
