IRO 5.5 LA..What Else Do I Need?
I am almost done installing my IRO 5.5 LA. I know this kit is pretty much complete... but..
All my bump-stops are shot/missing.. (They are original from original owner)
Which height bump-stops should I go with for 5.5 Lift?
Do I need a different Drop pitman Arm (longer or more angled?)? I'm running the Durango steering box already.
What about different Spring Plates? I'd like to upgrade them but whose do I go with?
Any other suggestions? Thanks!!

spring plates? You mean the retaining clamp on the bottom? I would focus on the steering/front end; do you have an adjustable track bar? A drop pitman is a good idea to save some life on those TRE's. The bump stops are only related to your tire size. I wouldn't get any at first, install the lift, get the tires you want, take it to flex out and measure the distance right before your tucked tire hits the body; measure the distance and purchase/make some. Disco's are a good idea too. Might want to consider a SYE as well. Just look at everything, its pretty obvious once you get to looking at what everything does.

Spring Plates..
I do have an Adjustable Track Bar (IRO Lift comes with it)
Disco's (Not Quick) come with the kit
I'll need to find a drop pit-man arm.
I'll be running 33s.
I know I'll need a SYE.. I think its the Hack and Tap style since I have the 242 TC.
The Dana35 has to go as well, been looking around for a 8.25 or 8.8(bolt in) I do not have a welder.
Yea.. I understand what you are saying, I was just trying to order some of the parts prior so I can get them all installed and get out to the trails! I picked this XJ up cheap.(250.00) It was sitting for 2 years and the previous owner didnt take care of it well. I am trying to replace mostly everything and get this XJ done right!
I really want to see how this IRO lift performs.. from what everyone else has said, its an amazing lift.

I ran 6" of lift and didn't need a drop pitman arm. Get IRO's tie rod and call it a day. DPG Offroad sells spring plates that double as a rear bumpstop.

I have the IRO 6.5 inch. I bought the heavy duty over knuckle steering kit and the SYE kit with drive shaft. If you go with the heavy duty steering you cant run 15 inch wheels. i bought wheel spacers and works fine. i have a biuld tread on IRO...

I don't have the cash just yet for the over knuckle steering kit.
I'll be calling tomorrow for the SYE *hack and tap and redone drive shaft. Even though I already redid the drive shaft I have now. A spare isnt bad though!
