iPod question.
One last question for the day.
Is there anyway I can hook up an auxiliary cable to my stereo system? I have an Alpine CD player at the moment.

i think my head unit is a jvc but hang tight and i'll get some pics for you in the morning, mine just has the aux jack in the front, and i used the patch cord 1/8"to1/8" headpone jacks from my surround system.

look at you deck, get the model number off of it, then goodle, find the specs and see if / how many aux inputs it has. Most modern alpines have an aux input. My alpine (cda 9896 i believe) came with an ipod controller that I can plug in and it charges my ipod and lets me switch songs with the decks buttons.
It also has a spot for an aux hook up, but being alpine they didn't give you 2 rcas, they give you some freaky thing that kinda looks like an s-video cable and you have to buy the alpine adaptor to go from their plug to 2 rca,s or a headphone jack. Don't know if yours has that plug or not, but if so the cable cost me ~20. Can probably get it cheaper online, its not too hard to beat tweeters prices.

if you cant see your aux cable pluq in on the front it is in the back. most likely you well have to turn on aux 1 in your program menu on your deck
