I developed a p0700 code during and after the 12-14" snow this winter. I'm aware that is is a code for the tcm.
After clearing the code several times during the course of the winter, I noticed it only showed up after rain. Now I do not have to clear the code because as soon as things dry up, it just goes away. But I can be assured that it will reappear when driving around in the rain.
My question is this: Is there any component under the 98 jeep xj that could cause this when driving in wet weather?

That seem to be it.After I learned a little more about using my scanner it turned out to be a p0705 code. Just seemed odd that it only happens when driving while wet.
Thanks
Thanks
