Default Intermittent cranking and other symptoms

Hello guys, my first one here.

I'm having an annoying issue with my jeep xj 94.

Sometimes it starts right up and works as a charm. No vibrations, stalling, or anything, feels like new.... but other times you can hear the starter motor spin without engaging the motor. Others it engages and drops intermittently and it sounds like if there's a compression problem (but there isn't), When this happens, it starts and the motor vibrates a lot. Checked the relay and it worked well.

I believe it's something electrical because when the battery is fully charged it starts perfectly, then if I try to start it the next day, it gives me the starter issue. (there's no difference between leaving the battery connected or disconnecting it and connecting it the next day.)

I thought there could be a problem with the old battery cables and replaced them. Also thought the starter solenoid was bad, but it worked well when I tested it.
Alternator is sending around 13.9v to 14.2v.

Any ideas?
