When your out on the trails going to your camping spot, theres no street lamps obviously when your out at night.

I want to add some overhead lights or diodes so where not fumbling in the dark finding stuff....map lights are too bright.
Ive seen in those bmws, audis etc they have these tiny red bulbs that shine the console up at night while driving....these are exactly what I need. Does anyone know what they are called?
Or am I best going to a jy with german cars and ripping one out and wire it into the xj (just those little bulb things)

 

I've been working on it, because nobody should ever have to look for stuff in a dark vehicle. I shall call them dome lights.
