Default Interior light flicker, redux

I had posted this issue before in the past, but wasn't able to figure it out, so I thought I'd toss it out there again and see if anyone else has had this issue.

My interior lights like to flicker on and off as I drive. It seems to be moderately affected by bumps and the like, but I haven't been able to track down how it's occurring. I also have problems with them staying on when I shut the door; I have to reopen it and slam it shut to get them to shut off most times.

My hinges are starting to separate from the body; could this be cause my issues? Anyone else had this problem?

The light post in the door jamb, either it's loose or the door is torn away enough to allow it to flicker on/off.

That's what I was thinking, I just wanted to get a second opinion. Looks like I'm going to be pulling the door off and welding the hinges...

Any suggestions?
