Default Interior Door Pull on a 2 Door Cherokee

Hi All,
I have a 1996 2 door SE and one of the interior door handles is missing. On the 2 door they look very similar to the rear door pulls in the 4 door. Does anyone know if Jeep just used the the same ones from the rear of the 4 door on the front of the 2 door?

Thanks,
Eric

I THINK they used a different door pull on the 2 door vs the rear 4 door. Best bet may be to hit a couple junkyards and see what you can find. You can have somebody measure the armrest on the rear of their 4 door and measure it compared to yours

Try to find them for sale and see if the part numbers are the same. I would check my parts catalog but I don't have it on my school computer. I can measure the rear armrest when I get home if you'd like.

Yes please measure the distance between the holes center to center.

I am having trouble finding them for sale anywhere but the rears are everywhere.

Thanks.

Cool thanks, I will compare it to mine and see if I can make a rear door pull work on the front of a 2 door.

The part catalog is confusing here. For the front ones they don't specify 2 or 4 door.
For the back ones they say 4 door. I guessing not but it looks like the same one is used on the front
door regardless of it being a 2 or 4 door.
This is from my '94 to '96 parts catalog.
What I think I am seeing though is that they came with 2 different arm rests but not sure.
And to make it more confusing I am noticing that for #4 they do not specify left or right.

This is actually super helpful. I think what it shows is that #1 and #14 are different and will not work interchangably. But it also shows that I might be able to swap to the #4 on my 2 door.

I think you are also right that the small armrest I have on my 2 door is not necessarily different because of it being a 2 door... it is different because of the trim level.

Thanks,
Eric
