ouchhhhhhh....they go on the lower hinge..i made mine from 2 bike pegs made a bracket ,spra with bed liner to give it texture an bolt on

i made a set from some bike pegs a few years ago.
i just used a couple bmx axles and bent them. then to attach them to my hinge, i just use an axle nut.
i also used a couple lawyers and an axle cone to hold them in place to rest against my tub to use as stoppers. i can fold them in if needed too.
i'll take some pics of mine tomorrow.
