interchangeable transmission

Default interchangeable transmission

I have a 93 xj with the 4.0
The transmission went out this morning it has the asio tranny will a aw4 tranny be interchangeable

No idea what a asio transmission is? If your jeep is auto and still stock, it has the aw4.

Maybe you mean aisin warner? if so, that is the aw4.

Its the asin its stock but originally from Canada

yeah that is the AW4 I believe they only used one transmission for the entire production run of xjs
