interchangeable parts
so, I've got a 1990 Cherokee, pioneer if it matters any. I also work for a towing company, we impounded a 1993 Cherokee about 2 months ago that was abandoned. we've had it in the lot for that 2 months, and my boss titled it to legally dispose of it. since my boss titled it, we legally own it now too. he told me if I wanted to, that I could pull some parts off of this one for mine. my question is, are parts from a 1993 Cherokee(such as interior panels, liftgate latch, headlight trim panels, liftgate rams, dash, stuff like that) interchangeable to go on a 1990 Cherokee with little or no modifications to it? I havent opened up the 1993 to look at the condition of these pieces close up, but they look fairly good. My boss said that I can't do anything to it til about next week because the title is still in the mail and for a couple reasons, he has a rule that no parts can be taken off the cars until the title is actually in his hand. Any help would be great!
-Thanks!

The dash(es) would be a tremendous amount of work to change out, even if they interchange.
Better check with a salvage yard's interchange manual for your parts compatibility.

Whew hoo! I want to come up on that. I would take the front d.s. the liftgate shocks the interior (if you need it) the top to the center.console (they break a lot) the engine/tranny/t-case, the front axle if its non disco (don't think so but throwing that in there) possibly the rear end, man I would pretty much strip that sucker and sell what I don't need!

buy it off of your boss because pretty much everything on the 93 can be swapped over to your 90 with no issues i have a lot of parts from a 90 and 91 into my 92 and it all went in perfect you may get into fitment issues if it was a 97+
