Default Intake swap Question.

I have a 98 xj im getting ready to do the 99-01 intake swap. There is a sensor on the top of the my old intake closest to the fire wall, well with the new intake the sensor is on the other side of the TB closest to the front end. What can or should i do with this situation? Could i move the sensor to another hole and be fine or leave it and try and extend the wires and be ok? Questions and comments welcome. Thanks guys.

It won't hurt anything moving that sensor to the other position or moving any vacuum lines to other places on the new intake. Done it several times.

I extended the wires to the IAT sensor and then installed the sensor in the air cleaner lid. The engine seems to run smoother at operating temp now.

....or u could drill/tap the new intake to keep wires short and in original location.

I just hate the "looks" of wires, tubes, hoses, cables running everywhere and the XJ has plenty of them. Hide them if u can.
