im upgradeing to a 99 intake and throwing on some headers. removeing the old intake i found the rear intake manifold mount bolt has no head. does anyone have any suggestions? the area is pretty tight. no room for a welder or really any power tools.

or is it just a like a guide pin? the front has a bolt and im sure its safe to say the rear is a bolt to.

Most likely was a stud some one broke off is there any thing sticking out to grab with vice grips if soo spray alot of pb blastt annd back it out

 

it only sticks out like 2 mils. cant get anything on it to back it off.

 

Small chise and tap it in the direction it comes out. or heads gotta come off.

 

at first i thought i got both intake bolts off, after feeling around i realized i i removed a front header bolt. not a intake bolt. both the front and rear bolts look the same

 

What you are showing in the picture looks to me like one of the two cylinder dowel pins for the intake manifold.

There are 9 bolts and two studs.

 

thanks man. i figured it out. one of the middle bolts was still attached. i thought i got all 4 of them out. now its out and back together.
