How does the double nut thing work to get the old stud out, I can figure it out

take a pair of vice grips or pipe wrench and just turn them there olny studs they should come out fairly easly its olny a stud if you got new bolts just put them in like the other 2 did

auto zone 30 bucks for stud remover,,then when u try to relign the holes i used my bottle jack to move it over

Put two nuts on, tighten them together very tightly. Use two open ended wrenches and opposing forces as you spin the top one off and the bottom one up at the same time.
