I have just purchased a universal flowmaster muffler and tailpipe off the vendor showcase and I was just wondering how hard or easy it is installing a universal exhaust setup on an 88" i6 4 liter, I know I will need to buy universal clamps and that is really my big curiosity in installing this thing. Any info will help and any reviews of the flowmaster super 44 muffler will be greatly appreciated too

Buy some clamps and a 2 1/4" to 2 1/2" adapter pipe, cut the pipe in the middle of the cat and muffler to remove the stock tailpipe and muffler, and leave enough pipe attatched to the cat for the adapter to clamp at. Grab a couple of universal hangers, route the tailpipe, clamp on the adapter, and clamp in the muffler. Bam! Done! Drink beer.
