Installing new front axle, drag link question
I'm installing a different front axle, and as I lined up the new one to go on I noticed that the drag-link has a smaller size thread/bolt than the previous axle did, so the drag link adjuster-ma-jig just slips on and off with out threading. can I tighten the adjuster enough to catch the threads? I left the other end of my old drag link connected (thats where I disconnected it since I couldn't force the lower bolts out).
So basically I'm wondering if I can leave my old upper piece of the drag (with the larger thread/bolt size) and connect it to the new lower drag piece (with the smaller size) and still connect them with the drag link adjuster without problems. I don't have the smaller adjuster or the top drag piece from the new axle. I didn't realize they came in different sizes.
Thanks,
Dan
