i got a pioneer premier deh-p400ub. BUT none of the wiring matches. its telling me to hook a certain color of wires into the harness but my cherokee wires arent the right colors!!!!! what do i dooooo????

 

go to wally world and buy a car stereo wiring harness adapter (if you havent hacked off the factory radio plugs in the jeep)

 

I already have that but its telling me what cords color goes into the harness wire. I just dont have the colored cords it needs. what am i gonna do about that?

 

i dont know, guess? i hate wiring problems

 

Have a radio place install it. haha

Solid Pink --- Yellow

Solid Gray --- Blue

Purple/Orange stripe --- Red

Solid White --- Solid Gray

White Stripe --- Solid Purple

Solid Green --- Solid White

Green Stripe ---Solid Green

Solid Brown --- Purple Stripe

Solid Black ---Gray Stripe

Forgot to write down... --- Orange Stripe

Blue Stripe --- Nothing

Black/Yellow Stripe --- White Stripe

Brown/White Stripe --- Green Stripe




work for you? I re did my entire harness with heavier gauge wires....

 

I got it hooked up now haha i got it allll right the guy who owned the cherokee before me had it ghetto wired as **** and now this new deck sounds ten times better and is sooooo sick!!! i mostly just guessed but it worked. ITs soooo ill haha hell yeah
