Hi, i bought a tranny for my jeep, when i was stripping it i happen to pull of a cap of some sort that had a sirclip on it, once it came of there is a spring inside the hole but i couldnt get the unit back on. does anyone know what it is, the cap looks like a cirlce with a cross in the centre found on the gear changing and electric plug side of the tranny
