inner fender removal fix
So like many with trimmed fenders I just ripped out the plastic inner fender and tossed it in the garbage. That leaves the inner space between the wheel well and the door open for mud derby cold air and other junk to get in there. I found a nice simple cheep fix for it. Using a pool noodle cut to fit and wedged in there. I work for a summer day camp and we had a few old ones laying around that we were throwing out. i grabbed on of the better looking ones, just split most of the way in half already and took it home.
Whats needed
1 foam pool noodle
a good knife to cut the noodle
As you can see the nice muddy open area between the fender and the door hinges
Take the noodle and cut it to length to fit into the fender area.
wedge it in there did a quick drive and they didn't move
