Sorry if this is in the wrong area but I just did the injector swap in my renix. I bought a complete set of the 703s off eBay for 130ish including shipping. Could have been cheaper to search out used ones at a junk yard and have someone rebuild them but this was as easy as it comes. So, they came looking really good and ready to go and it was a less than 10 minute job. Couple quick disconnects for the fuel line and 4 bolts holding the rail in and then just pull off the old injectors and put the new ones on. Vaseline on the o-rings makes them slip right in. A giant improvement on idle and general running condition. I am half way through my first tank of gas it seems like the needle is dropping a bit slower so I am hopeful for better mpg. So anyone who hasn't done the swap yet do it. There are other threads on here with other more in depth step by step so search them out and do it ASAP and you will love the difference.

I changed my fuel injectors a couple of months ago, and my Jeep 4.0L Renix has never run better.
I used the 746 injector instead of the 703.

I did not see any mpg increase on my non renix 99 but better idle and smoother acceleration for sure.

I bought mine about a year ago but my Renix runs super good now so I don't want to mess with it. Anyway, I read the fuel regulator needs to be changed too because at full throttle the stock pressure is insufficient for the new injectors. If you never go *****-out it shouldn't matter.

Use the Volvo 746 injectors on the Renix 4.0. No regulator change and runs smooth as butter.
