Since you have a 96, any of the popular ones are a quick swap because you have a the integrated regulator. You can go with the Dodge Neon injectors or the Ford 19 lb stick style injectors out of a 5.0 Explorer. I went with the Ford style and my mileage went from 11.8 MPG to 13.2 MPG, so they do work. I didn't change my driving habits or treat it any differently.

i believe we have a map sensor (manifold absolute pressure). a maf (mass air flow) meter goes inline from the filter to the throttle body so you would know if you had that.

They would but as I understand it you are going to need an aftermarket computer anyway, witch will come with its own loom.- well the ones here in australia do anyways. and you may be getting new Map & temp sensors, that the new computer can read. TPS and IAC CPS & cks should be ok. - but again will depend on the computer you use.
