It starts and runs fine, drive it 10 or 50 miles, no problem.
Shut it off for a minute then restart and it misses like its dropping a cylinder, eventually clearing up and running smooth again.
I had a parts store plug in to it, the reader said it was miss firing on 2&3.
(I didn't get the codes) I pulled the plugs, they are all white with no oil or carbon build up. I felt that since cylinders 1&2 3&4 5&6 are each on their
own coil and it was 2&3 missing that it wasn't the coil pack. But the guy at the parts store felt it was plugs or a coil so I changed both.
I still have the same missing after restart?
So my question is; Will a faulty injector act up after a restart similar to what I have described? Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Gregg

I had one I thought was doing just that, leaking, flooding a cylinder (Hot), then missing for a second. Unfortunately I didn't check the old that I removed, just the new before install. It did clear up.
I gave up looking for the photo. You can slip a long narrow piece of cardboard under the injectors while they are still connected to the rail,(at least on a Renix), and check for leaking.

Do you have the insulation on top of manifold/under injectors?
Do you have this problem if it sits long enough to cool down, before it's stone cold?
