Wierd seatbelts...

Wierd seatbelts...
What would cause a passenger's side seatbelt to become locked up in the retracted position in cold weather? If it is cold out, we cant pull it out of the retainer spool thing. 10 minutes with the heater running, and it pulls out fine. Any ideas?

I would say you have a bunch of crap down in the spool and or the spool has gone bad for some reason. I would purchase another unit or see if you can remove yours and see whats the deal
