Im trying to do an injector swap on my 95. So i picked up some injectors out of a 95 neon but they dont have 703??? They have 4 holes but idk if they will work?

I think the 703 is on the other side of it.

 

Nope the other side has the numbers 4669011?

 

that's way different to what you need. The numbers on the side should be 0 280 155 703 (the right one for your year) or 0 280 155 784 (for 99-01)

Plus, the 703's are skinnier. They don't have that beer gut deal going on in the center like stock XJ injectors.

 

Those look like they fit..... the taper is right. They look very similar to Ford h.o. injectors.

 

there's more than just physically fitting - they have to have the right pressure and flow. You can always try - what's the worst that can happen - right??

Haha... fuel injection runs between ~30-~50 psi. If the o-rings fit snug as they should and the length is correct you will not get a car b Que (still laughing at that term)... however if you have injectors that are 19lb/hr @39psi and you put in injectors that are 19lb/hr @49psi they will not have enough.flow at 39 psi and will choke the engine. There's a chart floating around with conversions. Op if you do try those be very careful not to knock off a pintle cap in the intake. Its easy to do. Also be sure the measurements are right. There are lots of ev1 injectors that fit.703s are def. Most popular. How do you think someone found out those work? Just be cautious and look for leaks. I would feel comfortable trying it. Although I drove my mustang 10 miles with a broken float and gas all over the engine. A little gas on a cold engine isn't going to start a fire. Obviously if it leaks don't do what I did, don't drive around like that..... I was young and dumb and had to get home.
