air down!!!! that makes a world of difference. Dont jump it too high off of the dunes. There are youtube videos of D30 busting ball joints and benting/breaking axle housings,..

The Dunes are super fun. I've been there on a buggy. Very amusing!!!

You're probably already aware of this but..make sure you're visable to others. A nice long fiberglass whip w/ an orange flag on it may keep someone from jumping over a dune and landing on you. Have fun..be safe!

a flag is required at silver lake. the top of the flag must be at least 8 feet from the ground and mounted on the front of the truck.

test hill is HUGE!!! air down and hammer down!!! but if you dont think you are gonna make it, turn around! Dont keep going until you stop while your tires are spinning or you will sink quickly and become stuck

oh, and bring a shovel

i highly recommend that you DONT turn around while climbing any hill. very dangerous to rolling and turning into another truck trying to attempt that hill. you'll know if/when you wont make it, just let off the gas and back down.
