Default Infinity 36670

Hi,

I recently removed the front doors on my 97 XJ and was looking to add additional speakers. I planned on cutting the wires right from the amp and hooking them to separate speakers in there own enclosures. I cant find a wire diagram any where that shows what wire does what. It has two numbers on the Infinity amp 56007653 and 36670. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I've just installed an aftermarket Amp in my 1999 XJ (built in 1998) & RHD

If you're able to read wiring diagrams you will find a correct and useful manual here:

https://manuals.co/workshop/jeep/cherokee

A pointer - Find the page with the chart telling you the wiring colour abbreavations. and then several pages further down you'll get to 3 relevant pages for your Jeep XJ.

Also check for errors in typing - one of the speak output wires tells you the positive is negative and the negative is positive - look for the pattern of how the diagram shows the + & - each time and you'll spot it.

I made a note of where each of these wires are on the 10 and 14 pin connector so I will photoshop and upload this.

RHD and LHD have different wiring.
