Increasing Wiper Speed
The rain was REALLY coming down today and I was driving with my wipers on the HI setting. The wipers struggled to keep up, and I was only doing 50mph. Is there any way to increase the speed of the wipers? What kind of mods would I have to do to achieve this?

ABSOLUTELY! Rain-X is good stuff.
If its raining too hard to see, slow down or get off the road. If you're concerned about being hit from behind, use your flashers. Too, if its raining that hard, enough water may be on the road to cause hydroplaning, so again, slow down.
Just because Cadillac advertises wipers that don't lift from the windshield at 195mph doesn't mean its safe to drive in the rain at that speed.

Just put some rain x on the windshield and rear window. I'll see how it does tomorrow morning. The window does feel a lot slicker though

Usually after putting on rain x i don't even need to use my wipers for at least a week, and the faster you go the faster the rain beads off

try driving an antique that has vacuum wipers that run off the fuel pump. when you step on the gas, the wipers stop mid flight until you slow down enough to get vacuum back. lol.
i need to make a set of hand wipers for my ******...
