While going up hills or attempting to pass on freeway, (driving in 4th wanting to drop to 3rd) Sometimes I have to press the gas pedal to the floor and let it off a couple/few times to get the tranny to downshift. Is that something of a TV cable problem or TPS problem or something else? thanks

I have been dealing with a similar trans problem and I have adjusted the tv cable and it comes back to perfect. However my original cable is shot and I just got a new one in today. I may try to put it in tomorrow depending on how the holiday goes. I believe my original cable would not lock in place correctly so I am hoping this works. It is really annoying,,,trust me I feel your pain. It has been a while did you come up with a fix?
