Factory Heated Seats In An '97 And Up XJ

I just need somebody with factory heated seats in their XJ to tell me a couple things.

Do the symbols illuminate when you turn on your headlights?
If so do them dim when you twist the **** on the headlight switch?

Hi Ralph,
The toggle switches illuminate when the vehicle is turned on. They do not dim when turning the **** on the head light switch. Just verified this with our '01 Limited.

Thank you for answering that. I figured they did. I also assumed that the illumination would dim when you did twist the **** on the headlight switch. Just like the symbols on your switches (fog light, rear wiper, defrost), instrument cluster, etc do when you twist the ****. I find it strange that they don't.
