Default Impossibly fan clutch removal

I have been swapping my blown 00 4.0 Xj engine for a 97 ZJ 4.0. pulling the xj 4.0 was so hard because of the ridiculous AC bracket with fan, there is a bolt inside the pulley that i cant hold. on the ZJ engine, the fan is on the water pump and is also impossible to remove. everyone uses the belt to hold the clutch but how does one go about removing the clutch/fan/pulley without a belt holding it

If you have a hammer drill with chisel. Theres that and also there is a pulley tool that holds the bolts of the balancer while you under fan nut

Use two wrenches. One on a stuck bolt to hold the pulley and the other to crack the other bolts loose. Then get the last one by holding the pulley with a wrench on an already cracked bolt. It will re tighten but not near enough to give you trouble.

I'll usually take the belt off and use a rubber "strap-wrench" around the pulley to hold it while I use a wrench to loosen the bolts.
