Default I'm starting to get white smoke out tail pipe???

She's starting to smoke ,white . Just changed the oil a couple weeks ago - castrol 10-30, took a road trip & when I got back I noticed her smoking lightly. She has 203 G's on her. Any ideas?

Headgasket most likely, do a compression test and you will find out.

I should add that in rare cases a cracked head will do the same thing. Usually the gasket goes before the head cracks.

Also check to see if your oil has coolant in it. It will look milky/hazy. Another sign its a head gasket

all the numbers should be within 25% of each other when doing a compression test. when 1 is in the 80s and the rest in the 120s-130s u should know which one it is

I think off hand it's 120 to 150 with no cylinders more than 30 off So if it's 120 then 90 would be problem cylinder

I also changed the water pump & t-stat recently & the pump leaked once & started to chirp so I bought another to replace it but havent had the time , am going to get to it this weekend. I had also noticed during the summer she would smoke when the AC was on.

I think it's there XJx3 92 4.0. So it's white steam that dissipates, and not bluish smoke that sticks around a bit? (water vs. oil).
