I'm confused?? A renix???
Okay just have to say this site is Awesome. I have spent several hours learning from here. But I guess I need to learn some more. I have been trying to figure out some bugs in my 90 Cherokee and I have a friend with a 91. His production date is 06-90. Both should have a renix system right?? If so, I was looking at his wires that run across the intake and followed them to the ones that go to the O2. Sensor/knock/temp. Sensor. HIS ARE NOT PLUGGED IN TO THEM AT ALL. His purrs like a kitten compared to mine. I thought the renix needed all of these to run right. Any ideas??

As far as I know when you're talking about Renix vs. H.O. it's the model year you go by rather than the production date, so his should be an H.O. My '91 has a production date somewhere around mid 1990 and it's an H.O.
Now if he's got sensors that aren't plugged in, that's odd no matter what...

Okay I was wrong on the O2 sensor. His was plugged in but not very good. And yes his is an HO the cast on the block is 0630 so if I remember right its a 97-99. In my 90 I dropped a 95 4.0 in her. But I thought the "renix" brain needed all of these sensors in order to run properly.
