ignition switch/steering cloumn issues...
soo the new white 90 jeep lmtd has some ignition issues.
such as it doesnt need a key to start and u can remove the key after starting. it seems to flicker the wipers when i toggle the ignition.
and the lever on the other side that controls blinkers and wipers doesnt work.
also cant seem to find the check engine light cuz i was tryin to toggle ignition 3 times and read the code or whatever but it wouldnt work..
im thinking the ignition needs to be swapped. as well as the blinker lever and all the connections.
i have my 92 jeep sprt still being parted. and it still has the steering column but it looks different?
does anyone kno if the ignition switch is swappable? or if the whole steering column could be swapped? or maybe u have a different theory to what is wrong?
thanks
