Ignition Switch, or Something Else?
My Jeep won't start.
The steering wheel won't lock when the key is pulled out. When you turn the key forward, everything powers up, but there's no ignition. It feels as if there is much less resistance when you turn the key forward. Also, I never could get the key to go in the Back Position to power the radio with the vehicle off, and now I can. Is this the ignition switch, or the cylinder, or something else.
At least I can listen to the radio with the key now. Maybe I'll sit in the Jeep while it's being towed, and LISTEN TO THE FRICKIN' RADIO! Yeah right.
